Our workshops are located on the territory of the VINZAVOD Center for Contemporary Art - the most creative art center in Moscow. Creative workshops and WINZAVOD are a great opportunity to have a great time with the whole family. While children are busy with interesting activities, such as sculpting, animation, and sand painting, parents can visit more than 10 contemporary art exhibitions at WINZAVOD.

In our workshops, children from 5 to 16 years old will have exciting lessons in painting, felting from wool, creating figures and cities from cardboard, a homemade animation studio and much more. In addition, for schoolchildren, Workshop teachers conduct excursions around the exhibition halls of the WINZAVOD Center for Contemporary Art. With us you can also arrange a birthday party for your child and invite all his friends: fun and busy hands are guaranteed.

Our youngest guests will enjoy rhythmic activities, dancing, modeling and sand painting.

Adults, by the way, can also try themselves in any form of creativity presented here! It's never too late to learn.

Every day from 10 to 20 there is a Full Day group where, under the supervision of qualified teachers, your child will be creatively engaged and learn new educational games.

And in order to continue exciting activities at home, on the territory of the Creative Workshops there is a store with children's books, materials for crafts, games and audiobooks.

Creative workshops were conceived in such a way that it would be pleasant and interesting for you to come there with your children, play, fantasize and create.

Interview with Tatyana Kovrigina, coordinator of the “Creative Workshops for Any Age” project

“Let’s go to the Winzavod!” - all Muscovites and guests of the capital have long known that if such a call sounds, it means we have a family in which both parents and children are literally creative in their free time. After all, it is here that the famous Creative Workshops are located, in the studios of which the lights do not go out until late at night. I wonder what kind of “honey” is smeared there that children and adults have to be literally kicked out?

We decided to look into the “behind the scenes” of the Winzavod and talk with the coordinator of the “Creative Workshops” project Tatyana Kovrigina.

Inlearno:“Creative Workshops for All Ages,” says the Winzavod sign. How difficult is it to organize classes that will be interesting for both children and their parents?

Tatiana Kovrigina: Children of different ages are brought to our Creative Workshops, and they do, for example, ceramics or stay for the whole day in the “Creative Kindergarten and Afterschool” (while parents go to work or just do their own business), adults also come to do creative work. It's all about the parents! Of course, it’s very cool to do creative work together, and if parents are focused on communicating with the child and they themselves are interested, they are not bothered by activities with the child, for them it’s relaxation and not “work” - everything will work out and they will be interested together.

And the classes just have to be real: an interesting, experienced teacher, high-quality materials and equipment, the creative atmosphere of a real workshop - we have it all!

In: How can you generally characterize the “main character” of Creative Workshops? Their interests, professional affiliation? Or is the audience “motley” and everyone finds something of their own?

T.K.: You know, there is a very diverse composition of parents: people of creative professions, science, business, the intelligentsia, the main thing that unites is a caring, interested attitude towards children, probably. Well, the children are all wonderful, it’s nice when they are interested in everything, they want to try everything.

In: Rumor has it that the lights in the Creative Workshops stay on until late at night. Who's staying here?

T.K.: Yes, this happens often. In the summer, when we have City Creative Camp, we also work until 21:00 so that parents have time to pick up their child, even if they work late, and can get there by car through traffic jams. And in the evenings, it’s the parents and their children who study with us. The mother arrives after work, and together with the child they sit down to do ceramics or something like this once a week, and they don’t want to interrupt this creative process, so both teachers and children with their parents sometimes stay up late. The teachers themselves stay in the evenings - prepare the scenery, come up with scripts, and work on their creative projects. It’s cozy here... Children, parents and teachers all drink tea together in the kitchen and talk. Yes, we are often told that they don’t want to leave us...

In: What activities are especially popular? And is it worth signing up for them in advance? Let our readers be aware too.

T.K.: The most popular activities, perhaps, are (clay modeling followed by painting and firing and classes on the potter's wheel) and. Moreover, not only boys line up at the entrance to Stolyarka - girls enjoy hammering with hammers, making racing cars, animals, swings and doll beds. Also, there is a real group of children and teenagers here: there are a lot of them, and with teacher Natalya Suchkova they go on hikes and to exhibitions.

We also organize outdoor events, for example - together with the children we come up with the main character and story, draw sketches and scenery, costumes or dolls. We embody our idea on an improvised stage or create a mini-performance using the rare technique of shadow theater.

Our lessons change the attitude towards a familiar subject, develop imagination and a non-standard approach to a task, which, you see, is very important in the modern world!
