New Year's decor is not limited to just decorating the Christmas tree. A paper ballerina can give the interior an unusual look (cutting templates can be easily printed on a printer).

How to make a ballerina out of paper?

The basis of the composition is the silhouette of a female figure. Print templates with images of ballerinas frozen in dance on paper and then cut them out. In order for the outline to remain clean when cutting, without blots of black paint, you need to set the minimum toner consumption on the device. When cutting, it is better for the blades of the scissors to go along the inside of the outline without catching the line.

If it is not possible to print, then the picture can be redrawn. When the monitor brightness is set to maximum, the black outline is visible even through office paper. You need to outline it without pressure with a soft, simple pencil.

Ballerina cutting templates

Printed outline drawings can be used both as decoration for walls and windows, and as independent souvenirs or Christmas tree decorations. You can make a template with a detailed, realistic shape. But sometimes a stylized generalized image is chosen for the figures.

In the technique of vytynanka

A ballerina-shaped vytynanka always has an openwork tutu skirt. This not only decorates the figurine, but also makes it more airy. Window decoration using this technique resembles frosty patterns, and plain snow ballerinas complement ornamental compositions well.

When cutting out a ballerina using the vytynanka technique, it is better to use a sharp stationery cutter rather than scissors. They can make the thinnest or most complex cuts without causing burrs. They begin work by cutting out the internal grooves of the openwork. The outer contour of the figure is cut out at the very end.

The finished figurine does not need to be supplemented with drawn facial features. The silhouette image is attached to the glass and complemented with other elements: small snowflakes, stars, etc.

Without a pack

A stencil of a figure without a tutu is suitable as a basis for a ballerina in a long, flowing skirt. She doesn't need support, so the silhouette image of the tutu will only get in the way.

You can dress the figurine without a tutu in a small piece of silver tinsel. If you make a skirt from Christmas tree rain or pieces of thread, you will get another interesting decor option. To secure such a tutu, you need to lay out a thread on the table and place lengths of rain across it the width of the dancer’s waist. The middle of each segment should lie on the belt thread. Place the silhouette and another layer of raindrops. All that remains is to tie the ends of the thread. Add glitter to the figure in the hand or on the head of the silhouette.

Black ballerinas

Silhouette images of the figures will help you make a fashionable wall decoration with your own hands - a black stencil. Having selected the necessary templates, trace them with a pencil on a layer of black self-adhesive paper. Please note that when pasted, the image will be mirrored.

How to make it in A4 and A3 format

You can make large figures using a graphic editor. In it you can easily change the size of the original small picture by setting the dimensions for the desired format. You can reduce the template in the same way.

How to beautifully design fake ballerinas?

The small figurine of the dancer looks beautiful even when alone. But you can make several figures and hang them on a homemade mobile. Its frame is made from thin sticks or wire, tying the first one in the middle. 2 threads are suspended from its ends, each carrying its own yoke. If necessary, you can increase the number of tiers.

After hanging the frame of the mobile, start attaching the ballerinas to it:

  • on the free ends of the crossbars;
  • to the centers of those carrying the next tiers.

You can make crafts with ballerinas in another way.

Dancing ballerinas

This is a design option for figurines in organza tutus. A thin fishing line is tied to the hand or head of the figure. After this, several figures can be easily hung from the chandelier horns or the cornice above the heating radiator. Air currents will slowly rotate the figures, giving them a resemblance to girls dancing on stage.

The dance can be done in pairs. Take a suitable sheet of paper and fold it in half. Choose a template with your hand extended forward and trace it with a pencil so that your fingers fall exactly on the fold. Cut and unfold, put tutus or snowflakes on the girls. So that ballerinas can spin, and the complex figure does not sag, they make a rocker from a thin stick. Its length is equal to the distance between the points at which both templates will be suspended. If everyone has their own hanger, the product will retain its shape.

The stick is hung from the center, like a part of a mobile.

Ballerinas in the form of snowflakes

You need to make a lot of small figures. For each template, put on a skirt made from a snowflake cut out of a napkin. For New Year's Eve, a window decoration made from thin threads or fishing lines suspended on a cornice is suitable. Ballerinas must be attached to them at different heights. You can glue several pieces onto one thread, and make the distance between adjacent threads so that the figures do not touch them.

When such a curtain rotates and sways against the background of dark windows, the effect of falling snowflakes is created.

And you can make an unusual ballerina from the Snow Queen’s retinue using a simple technique:

  1. Print or cut out your own openwork paper snowflake. Leave its central part intact. Place the product under a flat weight so that it straightens out on the folds.
  2. Prepare a ballerina figure template.
  3. Make a thin cut through the center of the flattened snowflake. The length of the cut is equal to the width of the ballerina's waist. Carefully folding the protruding parts, put the snowflake on the dancer.

Thin lace made from napkins looks beautiful. But you need to put on such a snowflake especially carefully.

Garlands with snow ballerinas

For the garland you will need many small figurines with hands connected above the head. You can make both realistic and fictitious human figures. For festive decorations for the New Year, colored silhouettes in the same skirts are suitable. But white or silver figures on the same base also look beautiful.

To create a garland you need:

  • figurines of dancers;
  • a long strip of tinsel.

When the ballerinas' hands are connected above their heads, a small gap is created. You just need to thread tinsel into it, creating a corps de ballet from identical silhouettes. This garland is easy to hang on a wall or on a Christmas tree.

With a pack of organza

A ballerina's tutu can be made from thin translucent fabric (organza, taffeta, nylon tulle, ribbon for a baby bow, etc.). The figure looks beautiful in a multi-layered tight skirt. To prevent the fabric from sinking under its own weight, you can print a template with a short bundle: it will serve as a support and will be hidden under the fabric.

For a short tutu, it is better to cut out circles from the fabric and cut them in the center with an oval that is slightly larger than the ballerina’s waist. Using a thin thread, sew the skirts along the contour of the oval (it is best to use a seam over the edge). Place the blank on the figurine, carefully pull the thread and tie it. Hide the ends.

A long airy skirt is made from a pattern in the form of a ribbon or semicircle. It will not puff up, but forms beautiful folds when pulled together.

The magical New Year holidays are approaching, and many have already begun to think about how to effectively decorate their home. DIY decorations always make the room warmer and more comfortable. Ballerinas and gymnasts made of paper are replacing traditional tinsel and Christmas tree balls. Made using various techniques, they look elegant and light.

In addition, the silhouettes of female ballerinas can be used not only as cutting patterns or a sketch for the punching technique - a silhouette drawing can become a motive for panels and postcards, stylish calendars in black and white style.

Paper ballerinas are replacing traditional tinsel and Christmas balls

One of the simplest options for modern New Year's decor is a similar figurine made from scrap materials.

To make the simplest model you will need:

  • A sheet of white paper or cardboard. The size depends on the desired size of the dancer.
  • Sharp scissors for carefully cutting out outlines.
  • Square paper napkin for a skirt.

One of the simplest options for modern New Year's decor is a similar figurine made from scrap materials.

Making a garland or individual ballerinas is very simple:

  1. Print a ready-made template or draw a silhouette of a dancing girl on a sheet of paper.
  2. Using scissors, carefully cut out the figure.
  3. Fold the napkin in half twice. Bend the resulting square diagonally. Using stationery or nail scissors, cut out various patterns from the triangle and remove the top corner.
  4. Put the resulting light skirt on the finished ballerina.

You can attach a thin white thread of any length to such an original snowflake and hang it on a window, a chandelier, if the decoration will not be touched by guests, a Christmas tree, or make a whole garland of graceful girls spinning in a dance.

To make the ballerina even more interesting, you can find a color image on the Internet, for example in the Victorian style. All that remains is to print it on thick matte photo paper or a regular A4 sheet. To make the girl beautiful on both sides, they take two pictures at once in mirror image. They are cut out and glued together.

A simpler option for making a skirt is to fold two rectangular sheets of paper measuring 10x5 cm like an accordion, bend them in half and glue them to the silhouette on both sides. Depending on the size of the snowflake, the skirt can be reduced or increased.

This simple and fashionable way of painting an apartment for the New Year will appeal to guests. They will probably ask you to conduct a master class.

Ballerina silhouette for cutting

It will take no more than 10 minutes to create an original dancing snowflake thanks to modern technologies. The finished template can be downloaded and printed. A girl's pose in a light dance can be any.

These familiar silhouettes are being replaced by rather unexpected options. For example, a baby ballerina or a fairy tale that will complement the interior of a children's room.

For those who think a girl dancing alone seems sad, there are templates for ballet couples.

Decorating a room in this way is limited only by the imagination of those who live in it. You can choose the most unusual silhouettes from fairy-tale characters to your favorite actors or animals.

Ballerina using the vytynanka technique

An elegant and openwork decoration will be obtained if you make it from plain paper, but cut out the silhouette not with stationery scissors, but with a more precise tool.

This type of work involves detailed elaboration of contours and the presence of many intricate shaped slots.

  • To create a vytynanka you will need:
  • sharp sharpened scalpel or paper knife;
  • a special rug made of dense material;

To create such a delicate ballerina, you need to draw her in advance or print a ready-made template, preferably with the outline of the skirt, and work with it as follows:

  1. Place the paper with the image on the prepared surface.
  2. Using a blade, carefully separate off the excess.
  3. Next, we begin to design the skirt. Here everything depends on the author’s imagination, since with a scalpel you can cut openwork patterns of any shape and size. The main thing is not to divide the ballerina into parts.

To create such a gentle ballerina, you need to draw her in advance or print a ready-made template

The craft is attached using water or diluted starch paste to a flat, non-absorbent surface: window glass, door. You will get a very beautiful decoration that none of your friends will have.

DIY ballerina postcard

The idea with a dancing girl will be useful not only as New Year’s decor for an apartment or school class, but will also take its rightful place in a congratulatory message.

To make a postcard you will need the following materials:

  • A sheet of colored cardboard. You can choose any shade you wish, but keep in mind that the ballerina should not blend into the background.
  • White A4 paper.
  • Printer and ballerina template.
  • Openwork napkin for cake.
  • Glue stick or PVA.
  • Sharp scissors, stationery knife for paper.
  • A special rug made of dense material if you plan to use the tugging technique.
  • Ruler.
  • Pencil.

The procedure for creating a beautiful postcard with your own hands:

  1. Fold a sheet of cardboard in half, color side up.
  2. Using a ruler, measure the width and length of the part and mark the middle with a pencil.
  3. Print a picture of a ballerina. You can use an outline or a color image. It all depends on the characteristics of the printer and the age of the person to whom the congratulation is intended.
  4. Carefully cut out the dancer along the contour, use a utility knife or a sharp scalpel to create additional patterns on the skirt, if it is not intended to be made from other materials.
  5. Fold the round cake napkin with lace edges in half twice. Cut a sharp corner to fit the ballerina's waist.
  6. Using glue, attach the figurine to the front of the card. Attach the top of the skirt to its upper base. The bottom edge should remain free. The decoration will be voluminous.

You can send a finished postcard with an applique to a friend, mother or sister for her birthday, March 8th and other holidays. This is a good idea for wedding invitations. You can also attach a ballerina made using other techniques, such as origami. But it will not turn out so tender and graceful.

How to make a ballerina from napkins

Another very interesting and simple way to create a dancing snowflake is to use only plain white, blue, pink or any other paper napkins.

In addition to this available material, you will need:

  • Wire without plastic braid.
  • Scissors.
  • PVA glue.

Progress:

  1. They make a frame in the form of a human figurine with a head, arms and legs. It is better to fold the wire in two layers so that it is strong.
  2. The napkin is divided into thin layers and torn by hand into thin strips.
  3. Wrap the wire tightly enough so that it does not show through, and from time to time lubricate the structure with glue.
  4. Take a whole napkin, fold it into a triangle and cut out a regular snowflake for the skirt.
  5. The ballerina raises her arms up and puts the “clothes” on her.

Another very interesting and simple way to create a dancing snowflake is to use only plain white, blue, pink or any other paper napkins

The finished product can be hung on a Christmas tree or chandelier. The advantage of such a craft is the ability to give it any position by bending your arms or legs at the desired angle. In addition, you do not have to use a printer to print the finished stencil.

On the eve of the New Year holidays or any other time, you can engage in making various paper crafts with your children. For example, make ballerina snowflakes. The article will present several options for such creations. So let's get started.

Master class No. 1: snowflake-ballerina made of paper

Call your children. Every child loves snowflakes. Such an interesting activity will help you keep yourself busy, and the kids will develop creative, imaginative and fine motor skills, perseverance, accuracy, and diligence.

Typically, white paper is used to make this craft, but you can experiment and use colored paper. The choice is yours. Prepare the following materials for work:

  • one sheet of paper (A4 size);
  • ballerina figurine template;
  • white thread;
  • sharp scissors;
  • glitter;
  • snowflake patterns;
  • whatman;
  • glue;
  • pencil.

How to make a ballerina out of paper

Our craft will consist of two parts: the body and the snowflake tutu. So, take a ready-made ballerina figure template. And start cutting out the workpiece carefully. Place the resulting stencil on thick paper. Whatman paper will do. Trace the stencil with a pencil. Cut it out with sharp scissors. It is best to give children scissors with rounded ends to prevent them from getting hurt. The same as in the picture below should be a paper ballerina.

The pack template can be found ready-made, or you can make it yourself (see below). Choose for yourself.

Folding scheme

Anyone can make a snowflake, there is nothing difficult about it. The manufacturing technology is very simple. So let's begin. Take A4 sheet, a simple pencil and scissors. To begin, fold a piece of paper to form an equilateral square. Cut it out. Then fold the square diagonally. You should get a triangle. Then fold according to the scheme:

  1. Fold the triangle in half. Then unfold.
  2. Fold the right corner first so that the tip of the corner extends beyond the edge of the sheet. Do the same with the left side.
  3. Fold the resulting workpiece in half.
  4. Take a simple pencil and draw the pattern of the future snowflake on a folded sheet.
  5. Carefully cut out the pattern around the office.
  6. Straighten the workpiece. It is best to place it under a heavy book.

Then apply glue to the cut out snowflake and sprinkle with glitter. You can also decorate the ballerina figure itself. Insert the body into the center of the snowflake. Glue the thread to the dancer's head. All is ready!

Now start decorating the apartment. Attach the craft to the ceiling or to the handle of a cabinet or door. This snow ballerina, made from paper yourself, will delight your guests. And if you make ten more similar dancers, you will get a real garland. How beautiful and elegant your apartment will look, decorated with such charming and graceful figures!

Master class No. 2: dancing ballerinas

To create an entire ballet group, you will need the following materials:

  • thick paper (whatman paper, white cardboard);
  • tulle;
  • paper clips (if you don’t have them, you can use tape);
  • scissors;
  • fishing line;
  • needle and thread;
  • glue.

To begin, select the silhouette of the dancer you like. The necessary templates can be found in specialized magazines or created yourself. Print out the ballerina diagrams.

Then carefully cut out the selected silhouette from the paper. Place the resulting stencil on thick paper and trace with a pencil. Draw the same figure, only in a mirror image on another sheet. Cut both parts according to the office. Glue them together, but don't forget to insert thread or fishing line into the top of the head. You will get the same lovely paper ballerina as in the picture on the right. Now start sewing the skirt.

Making a pack

Take tulle of any color (necessarily medium hardness). If it is not there, then you can use lace. Cut out a strip of fabric with a length of forty centimeters and a width of ten centimeters. Using small stitches, gather the ribbon at one edge using a needle and thread. You can decorate the pack with regular confetti, beads or rhinestones. Rely on your imagination.

Make five more figures in this way. Then hang the ballerinas from the chandelier using a fishing line and enjoy. With every breath of wind, the beauties come to life and begin to dance. These crafts can be used to decorate a girl’s room for her birthday.

We hope you liked the proposed ideas for creating paper ballerinas. And you will take them into service and use master classes if necessary. If you carefully read the article, then it will not be difficult for you to make a beautiful craft. Create with joy!

Natalia Belogurova

"Snowflakes-ballerinas"

I once saw paper ballerinas on the Internet on one page.

They looked elegant, graceful, and their skirts were in the shape of snowflakes.

And I really wanted, with my own hands,

Make similar ballerina snowflakes out of paper.

I drew it, cut it out, and it worked.

And here paper and plastic came in handy for me.

A long time ago, I figured out how to cut feathers out of paper.

And now I started decorating the skirts of ballerinas with the same colors.

And then I lightly covered the feathers with glitter,

Because real snow always sparkles.

And now, when the white winter comes, dropping snowflakes on the ground,

Under my ceiling, ballerinas have been twirling in dance for many years.

N. V. Belogurova

Cut out the silhouette of a ballerina from white paper (can be found on the Internet).

Fold a rectangle of white paper in half. Draw an arc above the fold line. Carefully cut along an arc.

Make frequent oblique cuts, not reaching the fold line.

Unfold the resulting feather. In the same way, cut the required number of paper feathers.

Decorate the ballerina's skirt with the resulting feathers, starting to glue them from the bottom edge.

Decorate the snowflakes and ballerina with glitter (gel glitter).

Attach several snowflakes and a ballerina to a white iris thread. Make a loop at the free end of the thread. Hang the resulting lightweight movable structure from the ceiling.

It’s better to make several of these pendants and depict ballerinas in different poses. From time to time, the imperceptible movement of air will cause the pendants to move, and you will be able to admire the pirouettes of graceful snowflakes-ballerinas.

My snowflakes-ballerinas have been delighting me for many years not only at home, but also in the art studio of children and colleagues. And with the arrival of spring, they go into a box and there they safely wait for the next arrival of winter, so that they can circle around the ceiling again.

I hope that they will please you with their dance !
