Light pink goes with what. Cheat sheet for color combinations

08.07.2024
Rare daughters-in-law can boast that they have an even and friendly relationship with their mother-in-law. Usually the exact opposite happens

And all these colors form a feminine base. That’s right, light pink is a truly feminine color. This is all the most delightful thing about a girl: tenderness, trembling, naivety, kindness, caring, romanticism, affection for home. Precisely in a girl, since this shade speaks of youth and purity. This is a pure, dreamy mind, without the vice and burden of life experience.

Although nowadays we are all familiar with the grotesque image of a blonde in pink, the basis of which is exorbitant stupidity: naivety taken to the limit. Still, light pink color pleases our eyes: sunsets, flowers, tropical birds. They are beautiful, out of reach. If men and boys want to compliment a girl who for them is a symbol of purity, tenderness, and inaccessibility, they give her pink roses.

Surrounding a girl with light pink shades is not only a designation of her gender and attitude towards her, it is a necessary education and maintenance of health. To some extent, it is the pink color that teaches a girl to be what they want her to be. This shade promotes the proper release of the female hormone, which affects her habits and even her thoughts. Experiments were conducted in this regard: in the gynecology department, the walls were painted light pink, as a result of which improvements were observed in the majority of patients.

Shades of light pink

This is a pastel range consisting of light shades of pink that can be divided into the following categories:
- warm light pink tones: their construction starts from orange and red with the addition of white;
— cool shades: obtained on the basis of fuchsia;
- foggy light pinks: have an admixture of gray or blue in their composition.

Light pink color matches

- with amaranth color (2) creating additional depth to light pink. This is a contrasting combination, where amaranth is brighter and attack is darker than pink.

- with a dark purple color (3), which is much darker than light pink and cooler in tone. Dark purple emphasizes the tenderness of the main shade and its airiness. It also adds a vintage touch to the combination.

Complete the combination with shades such as thrush egg color, marsh, gray-violet.

Other combinations with light pink color

Charming cowboy

The shabby surface underneath gives a special chic: beige wood, shabby milk paint, all this adds a vintage chic. This delicate palette is made up of white, sakura shade, pale flamingo, dark purple, light gray-beige, dark brown.

Gentle sunset

Impressive sunsets over the sea have become an inspiration for many artists, and the color schemes have opened up many harmonious palettes for various fields of activity. apple blossom

Delicate pink flowers of apple and cherry trees are like the first, stormy joy on the eve of the warm season. Everyone is in a hurry to admire them, capture them, leave them forever in their memory, as a piece of anxious anticipation of something magical, unique. Light pink can be a source of inspiration for spring joy. The range is represented by milky, light tones of ash roses, clover, red-violet, blue-green, blue-black shades.

How light pink combines with each color:

Combination of light pink with pink– an expressive and effective range despite the fact that these are shades of the same tone. Of course, fuchsia and its relatives are preferable: bright, saturated, but other colors will come in handy. Consider pairs with pink-peach, coral, flamingo, fuchsia, purple-pink.

Combination: light pink and red- unusual, bright, amazing. Feminine pink with elegant red is a contrasting pair in lightness and brightness. Even though the colors have common roots, the combination looks self-sufficient. The palette is made up of light red, red-orange, carmine, ruby, and wine.

Light pink and orange combined into a soft but colorful pair. Light orange shades next to soft pink ones, like a sunset glow: unobtrusive, warm, juicy.

Consider combinations of the main tone with peach, orange-coral, copper, dark orange, red.

Combination of light pink and yellow- most often intertwined in pastel colors: light, worthy of a baby. It is illuminated by light, absolutely pure, sweet, like marshmallows or cotton candy. To create this range, we took vanilla, corn, wheat, bright gold, and amber colors.

Combination of light pink and warm green- another pleasant, rich combination suggested to us by nature: like apple blossom buds with the first leaves warmed by the sun. The combination includes: green peas, lime, green-olive, moss, pine tone.

Light pink with cool green– a combination built on the contrast of warm and cold. The lighter the emerald green tone, the more delicate the gamma; the darker it is, the more contrasting the pair is in lightness. A very harmonious combination with such shades as water color, light gray-green, wormwood, emerald, emerald green.

Combination of light pink and blue, light blue- one of the most popular combinations. The combination of blue and soft pink was even honored to represent the color direction of 2016. Dark blue is like a strict, serious and trembling pink contrast of not only warm - cold, dark - light, but also strong - weak. You might also like pairs with sky blue, dove, denim, dark blue-green, and blueberry.

Combination of light pink and purple- an aesthetic, pleasant, gentle couple. It can be light, as, for example, with pale lilac, blue-lilac, lilac-amethyst color, or bold, as with blackberry, grape. A very feminine, mysterious, light combination.

Light pink and brown. Soft shades of brown will emphasize the color of the main color, dark shades will create rich contrast. This pair is similar to pink and blue: the opposition of rough - light, earthy - airy. For an example of a combination with oak color, light brown,
nutty, sepia, chocolate.

Light pink goes well with neutral tones:

white, beige, gray, black, forming classic pairs where pink comes to the fore from different angles: with white - light, beige - prestigious, gray - delicate, black - bright. Consider the following pairs: ivory, gray-lilac, dark beige, anthracite, black and gray.

Light pink color in clothes

This shade of pink looks great on blondes. But you should use it carefully: do not overfill your wardrobe with it, do not wear it to work, and especially not to business meetings. Remember, the sexuality of this shade is in its purity. A light pink dress with bulging breasts just makes you think of a stupid blonde. In the "modest" style, the skirt should be at least knee-length.

The light pink shade on the color type deserves special attention. If in “spring” this color is based on “kinship”: clean, warm, then in “winter” it is in contrast. This tone will create a good contrast with dark hair, bright eyes and winter lips. And no matter how you look at it, the image of a naive girl will not work, rather Snow White. “Winter” light pink should be combined with dark and bright shades, such as purple, brown, blue, dark purple, black, etc.

In clothing, light pink has many advantages: it can be used to create pastel, light colors that are more suitable for girls and young girls. You can also choose shades for a bright, contrasting combination: since the color is very light, it matches very well with dark tones, especially if they are saturated, for example purple, dark blue, dark green, etc.

Let's take a closer look at each option.

Black color gives the main tone not only contrast, but also brightness, even if it is a pale shade.

If you add white to black, the couple (that is, the trio) will become more harmonious and less intrusive.

Light gray shades are the ideal companion to light pink: bringing it to the fore, it emphasizes its tenderness and lightness.

White illusorily makes the pink tone lighter and, at the same time, purer.

Light beige color brings chic, as well as a bit of arrogance, overshadowing the frivolity of pink.

Rich, yellow-brown tones add color, while cooler tones add austerity.

Denim blue is often added in combination with brown, which makes the combination more stylish.

Dark blue tones are a great contrast and add a serious element to the look.

Bright blue will make your look shine.

Denim blue, cornflower blue, sky blue tones are an excellent choice to pair with soft pink. Summer, colorful, stylish, it came into fashion and became a romantic classic.

Watery turquoise makes the base tone sweeter.

The combination of soft pink and yellow can be called absolutely summer.

Like a flower, light pink blooms next to medium and dark green.

Orange easily harmonizes with this color and yet surprises with the similarity of these multidirectional shades.

From bright red to ruby, shades will stylishly complement the main tone.

This couple was inspired by Princess Aurora, whose dress is bright and delicate.

Lilac and amethyst tones are no less feminine than light pink; they wonderfully set it off with a slight coolness.

Light pink color in the interior

As already mentioned in the “meaning of color”, this shade is truly feminine. It should only be used for its intended purpose. Men in a light pink room will feel redder and not comfortable, and they will never agree to live there (unless they have feminine inclinations). But they will visit the pink bedroom with pleasure. This color is also prescribed for a girl’s room. In addition, this list includes women's beauty salons, massage salons, women's clubs, etc.
Consider the women's bedroom.
The little princess grew up and turned into a girl. Vintage style is the closest to a fairy tale, but it looks quite mature.

Gold wrought iron bed with an amaranth-colored satin blanket and decorative pillows: with gold sequins, white faux fur and two main ones - amaranth. Basic linen - white, pink or beige - with small flowers. Bedside table with curved legs, pink or white. Bedside lamp with a classic blackbird egg shade with a gold leg.
Curtains made of amaranth satin fabric (lambrequins will look good), tulle with small flowers.
The flooring is dark purple. A closet, in case of emergency. An armchair on curved legs in amaranth color with a pink pillow. The dressing table is in the same style. And, of course, vintage accessories, such as a painting in cool colors.

Other color combinations in a light pink interior

One of the gendered clothing shades is definitely the color pink. This color is firmly tied to the female gender in the minds of most inhabitants of the globe. The separation begins literally from the threshold of the maternity hospital - with a ribbon on the blanket, everyone you meet is informed about what gender the child has been given to the parents. The girls are dressed up in pink dresses, ribbons of the same color are woven into their hair, and even the doll cars they play with are painted, as expected, pink.

Interesting fact: until the 40s of the twentieth century, blue was considered a “girlish” color, and boys were supposed to wear pink - as a softer version of the aggressively masculine red. Pay attention to Cinderella's dress in the Disney cartoon - it is no coincidence that it is blue.

However, in the modern fashion world, pink has virtually no place in a man's wardrobe. Therefore, all the colors of this palette belong entirely to women, and especially to young girls. Pink has been associated with youth since the times of the ancient Roman Empire - this is exactly what young people are depicted wearing in ancient frescoes. But women of an elegant age also willingly use shades of pink in their wardrobe - with the right choice of tone, it is refreshing and youthful. You can't miss the opportunity to look younger just by wearing the right set of clothes.

Pink is also considered a very tasty, “edible” color - it is no coincidence that confectioners strive to add this color to their desserts: to enhance the attractiveness of the product and increase its sales.

Basic shades of pink

The variety of halftones of this color allows absolutely everyone to wear it. Do not assume that it is obtained from a mixture of red and white. In fact, it may include yellow, purple, and orange tones. Depending on their saturation, pink is divided into 7 main tones, which designers use when developing new clothing models and ranking the most fashionable colors of the season:

  • pale pink;
  • lilac-pink;
  • salmon;
  • crimson;
  • fuchsia;
  • coral;
  • magenta.

Cool shades of pink

In cold versions, blue, lilac, and violet colors are visible. Pink becomes warm due to the presence of yellow, peach, and orange notes in it.

Pale pink, or pearl, tea rose, camellia - all these names refer to that pastel, highly bleached shade in which a minimal amount of red color is seen. Such a soft, delicate color will be a good frame for a woman of any age. In its light powdery incarnation, it is especially recommended for ladies over 40 - both for business, office wear, and for festive occasions. Also, soft pink remains the favorite choice of brides (after white) for a wedding dress.

Mauve-pink is sometimes figuratively called the shade of “dusty rose” or “withered rose”. Due to the barely audible violet pianissimo, there is more coldness in this color. It is no longer as refreshing for older women as the previous color, but is still full of elegance and style.

Salmon is illuminated with an orange flare, and is therefore recommended for women of a warm color type. Its variety is shrimp and that fantastic natural color called “pink flamingo”.

Raspberry pink, sometimes called berry pink, is unusually harmonious, slightly cool and very appetizing, with rare exceptions, it suits almost everyone. A special coziness is felt in knitted clothes of this dark pink shade: a raspberry jumper or a sweater dress will be the ideal canvas for playing with accessories and bright details of the image.

In contrast to raspberry, rarely does anyone go for bright and explosive fuchsia - the most complex of pink tones. It needs to be muffled, dissolved and diluted so that the set does not look provocative and, frankly, arrogant. However, despite the audacity of this color, absolutely all women can wear it, with the exception of ladies who have crossed the 70-year mark, if you wear it at the bottom of the outfit - in the form of trousers or shoes.

Coral color is sometimes lumped into the same group as salmon, however, this is not the case. They have a common orange base, but the coral has more pink, so to speak, and the salmon has a slight hint of brown.

Magenta is a neon shade of pink that contains purple and blue notes. It’s cold and hurts the eye just by looking at it, so it’s only shown to equally bright and contrasting female representatives. It is this color, in its various variations, that is popularly called the “Barbie color.” Due to its richness, it is difficult to combine and is limited in use for women over 20 years old.

What shades suit each color type?

It’s not for nothing that stylists have lost their tongues, tired of answering the question: who will wear pink? Any color type has room to develop, and the most important thing in the color scheme of your personal set is that the pink color takes up as much space in it and exists in exactly the shade that corresponds to your age group.

Winter color type

Contrasting girls of this color type will suit bright, even flashy tones of pink. You should avoid calm, soothing shades that do not correspond to the “winter” expressiveness in terms of their impact on others. Cold and intense pink colors, even dazzling neon, will fit perfectly into the wardrobe of this color type. The only warm shade that they are allowed among the entire pink palette is intense coral.

Spring color type

Salmon, pale pink in various variations, coral, flamingo - all this is very suitable for a warm, golden spring. You should focus on the color of your natural blush - the skin itself will tell you what kind of pink color it needs. Cold magenta, dusty rose, clover variations with a lilac flavor extinguish the natural beauty of “spring” women. Perhaps they are the only ones who are contraindicated in fuchsia, except in very small “therapeutic” doses and at a great distance from the face.

Summer color type

Summer is always friendly with those shades of pink in which the influence of gray and blue is felt: “faded rose”, crimson, pearl, pink-lilac, dirty pink must be present in the arsenal of a “summer” beauty of any age. “Dusty rose” and dirty pink must be handled carefully - with a high degree of whiteness or, conversely, the presence of obvious gray in pink tones, skin prone to blueness or grayishness can take on an unhealthy, faded appearance. Therefore, it is better not to wear sets in which these colors predominate and, moreover, are concentrated in the upper part of the outfit.

Autumn color type

For some reason, in the fashion space, on the pages of blogs and sites about style, among readers and participants in discussions, there is a widespread opinion that red hair color, often inherent in this color type, and the pink color in clothes are written antagonists.

In fact, this is not true. Copper-red, brown, golden hair harmonizes perfectly with the right pink: lilac-pink, crimson, cyclamen. The subtlety is that the color has a clear structure - without halftones and without faded, indistinct shades. Autumn is contrasting and active - give it a worthy frame in the form of bright colors.

The combination of pink color in clothing sets

The most difficult thing about wearing pink is to be able to limit yourself in the amount of it. This sweet, seductive, feminine color often becomes hostage to the owner of the outfit in the desire to show the whole world how sweet, weak, defenseless she is in this world of men.

How to properly combine pink with other colors so as not to become a caricature of Barbie is easy to understand if you follow simple rules.

Pink and white

A combination that has long become a universal classic. White color smoothes and evens out the radiance of any shade of pink: fuchsia will add nobility, reducing its explosive power, and pearl will add internal energy. Of course, this is not a winter combination, and it is of little use for the off-season, however, paradoxically, acting as outerwear or accessories - a scarf, hat, boots - it is quite acceptable.

Pink and brown or beige

Pink and brown must be the same in tone temperature. This is the only combination that has easily migrated into the men's wardrobe: a pink tie perfectly sets off a strict brown suit. The same combination is suitable for a female office look.

To wear pink with beige, make one of the colors more distinct and noticeable so that the set does not become a shapeless blur. Both colors are close to the skin color of Caucasian women, and if she is also a natural cool blonde, a poorly thought out outfit without bright color accents will turn its owner into a vague shadow.

Pink and blue

The two colors will make friends and spend a wonderful day in your set - creating a great mood for you too - if they do not argue with each other about who is the brightest. Only one of them has to be intense. Two saturated tones together, especially those close to neon flashes, will sound like a discordant cacophony in the outfit and hurt the eyes of those around you. The combination of pastel pink and pale blue looks great. This choice will highlight both lips and eyes at the same time - even if they have a different iris color than blue or blue.

Adding brown in the form of accessories or shoes will add rigor and elegance to your outfit.

Pink and green

This combination, so often found in garden beds, is difficult to translate into clothing. It is not easy for an ordinary woman to choose shades that are suitable in color and intensity, which will merge in harmony, and will not look like two separate centers of attention in one outfit.

A combination of soft pink and mint colors is considered a win-win. It rejuvenates, refreshes and invigorates. Blends well with many calm tones of pink and grassy green, deep color. But light green, due to its high content of yellow undertones, is combined with pink only in details. It is better to avoid combining large scales of these shades in an image.

Pink and yellow

To complete the set, the duet of these two colors lacks a third, which is not at all superfluous. Yellow, pink and brown - the image is discreet and stylish. The mint color will make a yellow-pink outfit incredibly “edible” and memorable. Burgundy will add a touch of chic to the combination of these shades.

If you replace the yellow color with gold, you will get a completely casual outfit, but an “occasional” look. The brighter the shine of gold, the more the pink piece of clothing should match it - satin, silk, metallic thread should be in it.

Pink and red (orange)

Without being a stylist, it's so easy to miss when putting together an outfit with these colors! It seems – what’s special, because pink is almost red, only slightly diluted with white. And orange is the brother of red, and therefore pink.

However, logic and features of color perception are incompatible things. If you really want to try and you are determined, go for it.

There are probably only three rules:

  • do not include other colors in the set in proportions greater than one-fourth of the outfit as a whole;
  • do not use accessories and shoes that match the shade of pink, red or orange from the set;
  • makeup must be neutral, and hairstyle must not be shocking.

Pink and purple

The more blue or lilac undertones are visible in pink, the easier it is to combine with purple clothing items. The shade of the second color, called “grape,” will be universal in all cases. Black color will add solemnity to this combination, and white will add lightness and mischief.

Pink and gray

What pink goes with is gray! By playing with the temperatures and shades of these colors, you can create both magnificent, memorable outfits, and slide into the corner of oblivion as an uninteresting gray mouse.

Gray color has the extraordinary ability to tame even the difficult fuchsia, calm the impulsive magenta, highlight the timid camellia and perform well in pairs with raspberry.

In combination with gray, not a single shade of pink will look comical or cloying. Just avoid combinations of dusty and too whitened tones of both paints - it looks dull and outdated.

Pink and black

One of the most powerful combinations in terms of its impact on others. Keep in mind that while gray calms shades of pink, acting as a moderating factor, black acts as a catalyst on the same colors: it enhances everything. Bright fuchsia will make it simply unbearable to look at, soft pink will turn it into a dirty white, unappetizing shade. Raspberry will become cloudy and thick, and coral will lose its cheerful yellow note in the presence of strict black.

To smooth out this blemish developer effect, add white to the set. In the presence of positive white, black stops sulking and happily becomes part of a bright and stylish outfit.

Pink accessories

You need to carefully combine a pink accessory with other elements of women's clothing. Here the color decides everything - the brighter the shade, the less space it should take up in the outfit. A bright coral summer hat can match the color of the bracelet, but adding coral sandals here will be unnecessary. The cyclamen-colored belt is completely self-sufficient and does not need additional amplifiers of this color. Pink shoes are unique shoes, it is better not to distract the attention of the audience from her solo performance in the set.

If you want to keep a pink accessory in your wardrobe for a long time, choose time-tested colors: powdery, raspberry, light pink. These shades will never go beyond the focus of fashion designers.

Pink color is not only for children's dresses. Pink can be an appropriate attribute of a romantic or business style, casual, retro or country style.

A pink total look, of course, will be associated with a doll, but if you choose a worthy companion shade to pink, the look will become completely natural and fashionable.

Shades such as fuchsia, magenta, amaranth, and deep pink harmonize perfectly with black, creating an elegant and impressive look.

Wear a pink top and pumps with a black skirt and clutch - this look can be worn to a club, restaurant or party, depending on the style of the skirt.

In cool weather, a black total look of trousers, ankle boots and a turtleneck can be jazzed up with a pink trench coat, and black jeans and a T-shirt with a quilted pink vest.

Pair a charming pink sheath dress with a black bolero and belt, and choose a black top for a hot pink skirt. High pink boots will go well with the jacket, and in rainy weather they can also be rubber - don’t forget a pink umbrella.

To visually tone down the intensity of pink, wear it with white. A hot pink jumper will look great with white jeans, and a white dress with a pink bow belt and pink clutch will look simply chic.

The proximity to beige will help make rich pink more ordinary while maintaining a cheerful mood. Wear a beige raincoat or coat with a pink skirt or dress, complementing the outfit with a pink neckerchief.

Girls of the summer color type love to combine pink with bright blue and turquoise. This incredibly rich combination is quite appropriate on city streets and perfectly adorns fashionistas with a discreet appearance.

Pink plus a turquoise cardigan or vice versa, a turquoise raincoat and a hot pink scarf, pink trousers with a turquoise jumper are the optimal combinations.

You can also experiment with rich green, combining it with pink using the color block technique. You can also add blue or yellow to your outfit.

Soft pink shades - beneficial combinations

Light pink also goes well with black. Take a pink top or shirt with black trousers - stylish and gentle, despite the categorical nature of black.

Soft pink and white are suitable for creating a baby-doll style look; use lace, guipure, chiffon, organza, fitted fluffy dresses and short dresses flared from the shoulder line.

Brides love pink, adding colored accessories in the form of frills, belts, and gloves. You can also choose pink, wearing it with white shoes and a white veil.

Pale pink items go well with blue clothes and accessories. Wear a pink top or pullover with blue jeans, and complement a blue dress with a pink cardigan.

Such combinations suit young girls and are more suitable for blondes than brunettes.. Dark-haired girls can wear light pink with bright green or deep blue.

Shades of pink lollipop, ice rose, pink geranium are ideally adjacent to light gray. You can refresh a gray coat with a pink scarf, and complement a gray sweater with a pink pendant or brooch.

Wear a light pink shirt and a gray pencil skirt or a gray pantsuit to the office. The image will be strict, but at the same time light and inviting.

Choose your favorite look from the photo or create your own unique set. Finally, one more tip regarding pink things. The older the lady, the less pink there should be in her wardrobe.

Young beauties can safely flaunt themselves in pink dresses, but their grandmothers should limit themselves to accessories - a pink scarf, hat, shoes, handbag will do.

Stay a woman – wear pink, create delicate romantic looks or bright, self-confident looks, don’t forget about pink lipstick and a good mood!

In contact with

Regular readers of the site have long known that the Pantone Institute named the main color of 2016 as shade 13-1520 or, if you’re not being clever, rose quartz.
However, pink is a controversial color, especially when it comes to the wardrobe of an adult woman. For example, Alexander Vasiliev in one of the episodes of the program “Fashionable Sentence” stated that only little girls can afford a pink total look; young ladies who have reached the age of 12 must forget about pink once and for all. Is it so? Let's find out!

With all due respect to maestro Vasiliev, the question “why can’t you wear a pink total look after 12 years?”, in most cases, remains unanswered, but any color in a huge palette of colors is just a color! It cannot be good, bad, successful or unsuccessful. Color manifests itself when surrounded by other participants in the outfit: accessories, shoes, makeup, hairstyle, composition of things and many other nuances. Why did pink deserve such categorical judgments?

However, an impartial review of most folk outfits in pink tones leads to disappointing conclusions: adult women in Peppa Pig outfits really look ambiguous, and you can’t always immediately answer the question: what’s wrong with these images?

The mind immediately produces the most understandable cliché - you can’t wear pink after 12 (otherwise you’ll turn into a pumpkin!), it’s ridiculous, vulgar and completely inappropriate for your age!

However, if fashion designers create entire collections in pink tones for adult women, and a world-famous color expert calls pink the shade of the year, then perhaps it’s worth giving pink a chance and at least trying to look at it from a different angle?

The mystery of pink

The main difficulty of pink is that, like red, it has the properties of an amplifier. But if red emphasizes and multiplies the characteristic features: dark hair color will look even darker and more dramatic in a duet with a red scarf, an attractive girl in a red dress may seem too sexy, and a “gray mouse” in bright red clothes will be completely “lost”, then pink enhances flaws. Everything, and even those you didn’t know about!

Ungroomed hair and skin, cheap fabric, poor fit, bad posture, bad shoes, excessive thinness or weight, inappropriate accessories, poorly cut clothes - the list can be endless, any flaw will be greatly enhanced by the color pink!

But not everything is as bad as it might seem: the good news is that modern fashion favors pink. The words of Alexander Vasiliev mentioned at the beginning of the article were spoken by him in December 2014, when pink was not yet so popular. Nowadays, Vasiliev, criticizing domestic pop stars, is very loyal to pink total looks, occasionally adding that dark/rich shades of pink are more suitable for brunettes, light shades for blondes, and so on in the same spirit.

And fashionistas today perceive pink less categorically: the abundance of pink in the collections of famous fashion designers and brands, the popularity of pink among fashion bloggers has increased observation and neutral perception, which, however, does not negate the insidious properties of this color.

Who should wear pink?

Christian Dior, nicknamed by his contemporaries “the dictator with suede gloves” for his uncompromisingly strict attitude towards women, was very fond of using pink in his collections. Every woman who decides to try on an outfit in pink tones should evaluate herself with such a “dictatorial” look and, believe me, in this case it is not a question of complexes or self-doubt, but a moment of adequate assessment of her initial data.

The figure, the condition of the hair and skin, the desire to do makeup and hairstyle or, conversely, the lack thereof - everything can affect the final result. This does not mean at all that all slender women have been given the green light to use pink in their wardrobes, but the strictest ban has been imposed on all women, far from it! Girls with curvy figures can also wear pink, but on condition that the style of the dress or suit matches the characteristics of the figure, and the figure itself maintains harmonious proportions.
Examples of looks in pink tones for a full figure

All girls have neat hairstyles, makeup and carefully selected accessories

And here is an example of an unsuccessful pink on a full figure: too dark a shade for a brunette + pink enhances the fullness/lack of waist

There is an opinion that dark pink shades are suitable for brunettes and brown-haired women, but in reality the combination of dark pink with black (in this case hair) creates an overloaded and even vulgar image. The degree of vulgarity will be higher, the darker and more saturated the pink color used in the outfit.

To avoid too strong color contrast, it is better not to combine pink and black in one look at all and choose pink colors of medium lightness and brightness for dark hair.

Which pink to wear?

The shade of pink is as important as the overall appearance of the clothing, its style and workmanship. So dark tones of pink - fuchsia and the like, are more suitable for slender women with light brown/caramel hair, medium-light pink is more universal and acceptable for both light-skinned blondes and brunettes with a dark skin tone, and you can try light pink, bleached colors to be worn by everyone without exception.

Medium light pink suits both brunettes and blondes

What to combine pink with in your look?

The companion colors of pink should ideally match the selected shade in lightness and brightness, or be lighter than other participants in the outfit. It is advisable to avoid combinations of any shades of pink with black and select tones of gray, blue, green, red or brown that are equal in lightness.

If you can’t live without black, then it’s better to choose light, pastel shades of pink for an ensemble with it.

Popular this season, shoes and accessories in mirrored silver, gold and other metallic colors are a perfect match for clothes in pink tones.

An ideal fit and quality of tailoring are the alpha and omega of any successful outfit, but, as has been said more than once, if clothes of other colors can smooth out a low-grade fit, then pink will mercilessly trumpet this mistake to everyone! This also includes: the quality of stitching and finishing of pink items, the cost of fabric and accessories and the general condition of the clothes. If the stitches are crooked, the fabric is cheap, the model is overly decorated with frills, rhinestones, and even wrinkles at the slightest touch - then even a thousand times you will be young and slender, the image will turn out to be vulgar and cheap.

The things are expensive, but the image... is very much for everyone

Pink requires a laconic design, a clear cut, neat hair and makeup, modern shoes and discreet accessories. Only in this design the image in pink tones will turn out stylish, and not vulgar or vulgar.

On the left, a hairstyle that is too careless for a pink coat, on the right, babylons filled with varnish and outdated makeup - both are equally bad

So:

- try to avoid dark and rich shades of pink (fuchsia and the like) if you are a brunette or are far from a model figure. Dark shades of pink strongly emphasize fullness, and also look too contrasting in a duet with black, making the image vulgar. Exception: sporty style, but pink should be very dosed: stripes, blotches, etc.

- pink is very picky about appearance. Neat (but not fancy) hair and makeup are a must for a pink look.

- In order not to make a mistake with shades, try to pair colors with pink that are close in lightness and saturation

- it is better to combine black with light shades of pink, this way you will avoid strong contrast, which can be very insidious

- for a full figure, light and medium shades of pink are suitable

- the quality of things in pink tones is one of the main conditions for a successful image

- avoid active decor on pink things

However, modern fashion has become less demanding and conservative, so experiment and be trendy!
